HSY Yachts D85 is running 1 knot faster than predicted as a result of our technical approach to optimising stern gear. The project to supply a complete set of CJR sterngear, including fully CNC-machined Class S Propellers, is the third successful collaboration between HSY Yachts, Navantec, and CJR Propulsion. The picture was taken during her recent sea trials in Antalya, Turkey.
Serkan Filiz, Production Manager, told us: “It has been a pleasure working again with Navantec and CJR on this project. The performance and comfort of the boat have exceeded my expectations. But after the launch of our flagship 56M project which also had CJR sterngear and propellers, I should not have been surprised. Throughout the build, Navantec and the CJR team have been on hand and I look forward to our next collaboration together on our next 116 yacht, which we’ll be launching next year.”
Every CJR propeller is designed using best practice and is tailor made for a specific vessel using high tech design and production techniques. We regularly re-assess and invest in precision manufacturing technology and combine this with a data and intelligence-led mindset, to deliver the ultimate in propulsion performance and efficiency as standard. Every CJR propeller can be manufactured to any classification society rules, including all IACS societies for complete peace of mind.
