For the second year in a row, a boat fitted with CJR gear has scooped the $$multi-million top spot at the White Marlin Open. We send huge congratulations to Duffie Boatworks’ 64′ Billfisher, which took home a staggering $3.9million prize after landing a 72 pound White Marlin.
Here’s what Captain Jon Duffie had to say about CJR Propulsion earlier this year:
“We just put a set of Wildcat and CJR’s Billfish Series wheels on the Billfisher, and we were the fastest we’ve ever been. We weren’t hurting for bites either … We can play with diameter, blade area and pitch to maximize speed and performance and have low slippage and high fishability.”
Congratulations also to all the other boats fitted with our kit, including last year’s winner, Waste Knot, Special Situation, Boy’s Toy, and Roshambo, who also all received prizewinning cheques this year.
