Installing our CNC-machined, Class S propellers earlier this year increased the speed of this Tourism Adventure vessel by 10%. She now reaches speeds up to 27.5 knots – though that’s still not quite enough to keep up with the 2021 Americas Cup boats.
The ferry is owned by New Zealand’s Explore Group Ltd, which operates in Auckland and the Bay of Islands. She is normally used for dolphin-watching and tourist trips but she is currently being chartered as a VIP vessel for the America’s Cup.
