CJR Propulsion receives special mention at Seatec Qualitec Technology Awards

CJR Propulsion, distributor of VEEM propellers in Europe, the Middle East and Turkey, has received a special mention at the 2009 Qualitec Technology Awards for VEEM’s revolutionary Interceptor Propeller. The Qualitec Technology Award was announced at this year’s Seatec exhibition in recognition of exhibitors who have made a substantial contribution to the development of innovative technology in the Industry. This year’s award was open to products seen to demonstrate excellence in design and to improve the quality of life onboard. VEEM’s Interceptor technology was selected for this category as it enables all boats to be launched with the correct propeller every time, by attaining the right engine revs and load without the need to change or modify the propellers. The Interceptor allows changes to the pitch of the propeller without removal from the boat by using different height Interceptor strips to adjust the effective pitch of the propeller. Should the pitch of the propeller need to be changed, the old strip is simply pushed out and a new strip of a different height is pushed in.
